Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, budget, resources, and timelines. Define project tasks and resource requirements. Create detailed work breakdown structures and project schedules. Execute the project plan, monitoring progress and ensuring all project milestones are met on time and within budget. Team Leadership & Management: Lead and motivate the project team, providing clear direction and support. Assign project tasks to team members and track their progress. Conduct regular project meetings (e.g., daily stand-ups, weekly status meetings) to ensure a shared understanding of project status and tasks. Foster a collaborative and productive working environment. Stakeholder & Communication Management: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Communicate project status, risks, and issues clearly and concisely to all relevant parties. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their needs and concerns are addressed throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and present project status reports to the PMO Head and other senior leaders. Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively. Develop contingency plans to address potential problems. Escalate critical issues to the PMO Head when necessary, providing clear recommendations and supporting data. Financial & Resource Management: Manage the project budget, tracking costs and ensuring the project remains within the approved financial plan. Optimize the allocation of resources (e.g., people, equipment, software) to maximize project efficiency. Procure and manage external vendors or consultants as needed. Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and are consistent with project requirements. Adhere to the project management methodologies and standards established by the PMO. Conduct a project post-mortem or lessons learned review to identify areas for improvement.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Experience: Proven experience (e.g., 3-5 years) in a project management role, preferably within an IT environment. Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies is a plus. Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project). In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Technical understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and systems integration.
